Freezing Problem

I seem to have a similar problem to one further down (SVCD2DVD freezes during multipexing).

I've checked for cygwin.dll and I get four results, 1 in SVCD2DVD, the other three relate to VCDEasy.

I looked to download from cygwin, but I'm not sure exactly what I need ot install and where.

Hi,

I just donated a few days ago to get the full program because I could get the free version or the demo to work. I am completely lost. I keep getting the multiple cygwin.dll installed on your computer. Yet I search the whole computer for other cygwin's and I can't find any. The only one is in SVCD2DVD. I tried just using mpeg files, instead of bin files and I get the same errors. I really want this program to work, because doing it the long way. Ripping, demuxing, resampling, remuxing, patching, etc. It is a time cosuming and requires too much input from me. I can't be attending the computer all the time and this program is perfect for what I want to do. Especially putting PAL and NTSC on the same DVD. Also today for some strange reason the program refuses to start. I tries to but after a few seconds it stops.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I fixed the no starting problem. Had to uninstall and reinstall to work but I keep getting the same errors with cywin. I keep checking for any installion of cygwin anywhere and I can't find it. Any help is appreciated. Thx

Okay I have been pursuing other ways (since I can't get this program to work) to put VCD, SVCD (PAL + NTSC) on a DVD. I have managed to do it, but no menus.

Any help on the cygwin problem above would be greatly appreciated. I really want this to be a great program for me, but I just can't get it to work. I will try again after I do a format but that won't be for another week or so. I have tried installing cygwin and using that DLL file but i still get the same error. Hopefully you experienced users out there can help. Thx in advance.
