  1. I don't think they sell Vegas+DVD, only vegas movie studio, otherwise I'd run over and fight for an hour w/ the manager to try to get it!!..what a deal .. pitty the guy who cut & paste the wrong product into the circular (page 12 of the 9/19 circular, at least in the metro NY version):

"As you ramble on through life, brother, whatever be your goal - keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole."

Too bad that somewhere in the circular it has tiny little print that says "Not responsible for typographical errors". Unless you get a pushover manager, they really don't have to honor your claim.

Well I don't think that is a "typo" in the sense of a spelling/pricing error...
It identifies a software title / picture of box that is different from what they might have intended...

Here we go again. I guess there is no such thing as an honest mistake anymore.

Isn't anyone going to mention "Lawsuit" soon?....I'm really looking forward to that.

It's in our circular too, probably nationwide Well I'm off to best buy. j/k I looked quick and couldn't find the "not responsible for misprints" disclaimer.

  7. Just for giggle what is the price of the video + DVD package?

Besides Sony need the money to buy up MGM..... So the 69 price makes no sense.

This is the item linked to the ad:

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?CategoryID=cat01181&id=1091100392202&skuId=681...&ref=10&loc=01

As mentioned, Vegas Movie Studio. So, what is the difference between Vegas+DVD and Vegas Movie Studio?

EDIT: Nevermind, got off my lazy ass and checked the difference.

I didn't see it either but don't think the sell the product pictured so it would be hard to get them to honor the ad

If Bestbuy won't bite, take the ad to Staples or other stores that say they will beat or match any published price from a major company..... The fun goes on.

    Hi all

Went to Best Buy this morning just to see what would happen. None of the 4 sales associates even knew what Vegas was! They checked inventory (I didn't see it on the shelf, so I asked an associate(s)) and the database said there was 1 in stock, but we couldn't locate it anywhere. A truck with 2 copies on it should be in tonight or Saturday night.

Anyway, the description in the database did say "Sony Vegas Movie + DVD", or something to that affect. Oh well, I had fun anyway.
