  1. Hi

    If I want to use a video file at a bitrate of about 1000-1500kbps
    what format you would recommand using if I want to burn that on a DVDR and play it on a dvd player ?

    You can exceed the VCD 1150 kbps standard and go all the way up to 1856 kbps.

    352x240, 48 kHz audio AC-3 or PCM WAV.

    what software does burn a DVD with that resolution? i tried DVDit and it says i cant use that reolution...

    someone say with that resolution i can put a lot video inna dvd, but, as dvd or cdvd?

    TMPGEnc DVD Author, IfoEdit, DVDAuthorGUI(?)...

  9. If your dvd authoring program won't accept 352,240 then it is a lousy program. Scream at tech suport to fix this or buy new software or use free software for the task.

    ...or, as above, you're trying to create a PAL DVD, when not accepting 352*240 is to be expected from a good authoring program.

  13. Also note if your low bitrate video is 23.976 fps you will need to use mpeg2 and add pulldown to it. (Can't add pulldown to mpeg1)
