If they incorporated exports to MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 they would be like killing other companies that make plug-ins for Premiere that do this already... I doubt they would do this. However, when I first got Premiere 6 I noticed they had a little "Web Export" option now, where you could export crappy MPEG-1 videos with VCD resolution and much macroblocking. It was a plug-in that came bundled with the Premiere installation called Cleaner 5 EZ or something like that.

Since they have done this, they might just raise the price on Premiere for future releases and include plug-ins that let you export to MPEG-2 and better MPEG-1. The Cleaner 5 EZ one sucks because you cannot change any settings or configure anything at all. Not resolution, bitrate, framerate... nothing. HOpefuly if they do decide to start including plug-ins that deal with the MPEGs in the future, they include good ones that let you tweak everything like TMPGEnc does.
