I have more songs on Download.com:
Last Rites
Check 'em out. Some of them are from a live performance. The quality isn't the best, but you should be able to tell what's going on.....

Do you have anything to do with this legendary band, by any chance??

Or you are long lost brother to this guy?

Looks like YOU!!!

We were Last Rites, while the ones in your link are LAST RIGHTS. Any idea where they were from? Unfortunately, several other bands had used the name over the years, so any future projects will be under the name Rex Mundi and the World Leaders.
The guy in the picture does have some resemblence, but he has not eye patch and my hair is blonde (although it's hard to see in the picture). Any idea what his band is/was?
Did you check out any of the songs? -
Hi Johnny, shit you're quite RIGHT. I didn't check the spelling there, heh heh.
LAST RIGHTS were a ******* fantastic old hardcore punk band, from Boston USA. Boston brought out a great deal of awesome old hardcore bands back in the early-to-mid-'80s: eg NEGATIVE FX, SIEGE, THE FU's, NEGATIVE APPROACH, etc etc...
I don't even like hardcore music much! But I LOVE the old Boston shit, man! (Also Sweden, Japan, Brazil...heh but that's another story...)
Ahhh, your "long lost brother" is GG Allin, a total legend in punk circles, actually. He OD'd years ago but went through plenty of cool bands. His best band was his first, THE JABBERS, back in '78.
I hear The Jabbers are still kicking! Cool to hear!
(Jabbers are my all-time favourite punk-rock band!!! AWESOME!!!)
YES! I downloaded the smallest-megabyte song of yours, "Wages Of Sin"...yes it sounded cool, mate! I'd like to hear a studio version! You got CDs? Unfortunately I'm impatient with downloads (I got dial-up) so maybe later with the other songs...
Johnny, do you wear the eye-patch OUTSIDE your sunnies or INSIDE?
Cheers !
(PS I notice all your songs have religious connotations, eg "Wages of Sin", "Pillar of Fire", "Crown of Thorns"... It doesn't "sound" christian to me, so it must be gothic/punk satire, right?) -

I wear the patch behind my glasses. I was assaulted by 4 kids with clubs in San Francisco back in '81. The broke my glasses and pieces of glass went into my eye. I've had lots of surgery to try to restore some usable vision, but I'm still not able to use it. I just feel lucky I wasn't shot, which is what happens nowadays.
The religious theme is more an attempt a surrealism than anything else. This is definitely not Christian rock! -
****!
I'm sorry man, I thought the eye-patch was a gimmick thing...
Ah but hell, who needs 3D vision in an infinity-D universe, right???
YEAH I'd LOVE to hear more of your shit, mate! Please hook me up!
Ah smack, what a load of bollocks... I've seen that disgrace too, amongst friends. Turns 'em into baby-talking idiots. I never got sucked into that shit, thank Satan!
Piss/pot/pizza/pussy.... That'll do me fine! :P The 4 P's!!!!
How do you record? Audacity's pretty cool these days, you should check it out. They've sorted out the track-sync shit. It's great! -
I don't have any recording equipment at the moment. I've been talking about it with my brother, but he lives about 150 miles south, so there are logistical problems.
Re: I'm sorry man, I thought the eye-patch was a gimmick thing...
No problem. I didn't even pick up that you thought it was.
Are you familiar with Fields of the Nephilim? Also, am I correct in guessing you're in UK?
