CAPTY

I have a clip of video I captured with ADS instant DVD. When I tried to compile it in CAPTY it would freeze about 1/10th of the way into it according to the status bar. Then the spinning beach ball of death would appear. I would have to force quit. I tried multiple times and I even recaptured the clip with no success. I finally started cutting the clip until I got the problem area narrowed down to about a 2min section of video. In this video it has my kid playing with a sprinkler. Any ideas why this would happen? Not that I really need this portion of video just want to know what the cause could be.

not sure, but Capty is known to be not so great.
