    i have a dvd (riped on to the computer) that will not let me play it. it says i can not play it in this refion. i tryed using dvd decypter to remove the protection. it still did not play in either windvd or powerdvd. i installed Dvd Region +css free. but that did not do anything either.

    anyt one nkow what the problem could be or how to do it another way?

    Try playing the DVD in VLC media player. Its freeware, and also plays any region DVD on region locked drives.
