I make backup copies of my DVDs as VCDs, I know the quality will not be as good, but it will still be clear enough to watch. I was wondering, I use SmartRipper to rip the DVDs to my HD. I always had the demacrovision option checked. Does it realy matter if I have it checked or not? Some guides have it checked and others don't. If I don't have it checked will I still be able to convert it without a problem? I use DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc as my convertion programs. TIA
