I am thinking about upgrading from Windows Millenium ( I have to get rid of this crap) to Windows XP. Is it any good? Does it mess up programs like TMPEG? Is it faster? Most importantly, does it crash alot?

Is it any good? Despite the AOL feel to it, it seems ok.
It has not messed any of my programs yet as a matter of fact some work on it now that its installed.
It seems about the same. No it does not crash alot. I have had it going for 3 days straight encoding and doing other things with no crash. Before you do check to see if your hardware is compatible with the windows xp hcl(hardware compatibility list).
