soft cloth sold by Kensington. it wipes off all the dust.

Well I would use the special cloth I used to clean my glasses, but since my girl hit the screen with a baseball bat and scratched it I use anything including some saliva and a finger rub..

Accident?
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
Usually i say, read the manual, but my manual doesn't state. So I just use paper & a little water. No chemicals.

Scratches will hide the burned out pixels...

...buying a new one.
I got two dead pixels on my 23" Apple display at work so I pitched it and bought a new one. I'm sure the new one was cleaner than that old one anyway.
On a serious note just be careful with the things. Don't use harsh cleansers but a misting of anti-static dusting spray on a clean paper towel will work. -
According to what I've read, the "professional" stuff you buy in the store for cleaning LCD's is just a 50% Isopropyl Alcohol / 50% Water solution. Put it in a spray bottle, shake, and spray. Use a soft cloth or diaper to wipe. Supposedly Windex will cloud the screen or etch it, though I tried it a while back and nothing happened.
But, the alcohol is only $.50 or less at any drug store. Water is even cheaper

Yeah, you know what the worst part is? Instead of "taking it out of the company's garbage" we have to pay a company to pick it up and properly dispose of it. I'd even have paid like $50 for itOriginally Posted by thecoalman

I use the Electronic wipes, you can get them from Walmart for like $5

Windex and a soft cloth. Spray the windex on the cloth first (never directly on the screen) then rub the cloth on the screen gently.
