Prolly the bins are of VCD or SVCD. Mount them as suggested with daemon tools, and follow general "VCD/SVCD to DVD" conversion process. (svcd2dvdmpg comes in handy...)

What about VCDGear to convert each file to MPeg1; then Tmpgenc and merge together as one file? You then all set for DVD Authoring.

No need to merge - that's done during the authoring stage. (Just add them to the same title one after another.) Merging mpegs in TMPGEnc has a tendency to result in sync problems galore!

"What about VCDGear to convert each file to MPeg1" = "follow general "VCD/SVCD to DVD" conversion process." in my book

svcd2dvd is a great program for that if you can spare £10.

Otherwise the free svcd2dvdmpg will let you alter the files without the hassle, time and quality loss of re-encoding them.
