Rebuilder error : error code '52' bad file name or number

Hello everybody,

I'm using DVD rebuilder 0.56 and I have the following error message coming up at each rebuild phase "error code 52, bad file name or number"
I happens at the rebuild phase when it create the VTS_01.BOB file; the creation of VIDEO_TS.DUB, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VTS_01.DUB, VTS_01.IFO
is OK. The preparation phase and the CCE encoding phase were OK.

First I thaught it was due to the fact that I have a long directory structure, so I changed it to g:\rebuilded\MyDVD but that didn't change anything.
The error still occurs and, after clicking on OK, rebuilder stops running. At this time the VIDEO_TS folder contains the following files :
VIDEO_TS.DUB
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01.DUB
VTS_01.IFO
VTS_01....BOB (size 0 KB, empty)

The DVD I'm trying to rebuild is one I made myself, 6.2 GB main movie, one single audio track.

What is wrong or what did I overlook ?

Sorry for the confusion, the files created are :
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB

Rebuilder stops at VTS_01_0.VOB whose size is 0 bytes

Can someone help me out ?

jacobus, could you copy and post the names of some of the files generated by DVD Rebuilder?
*.avs, *.vaf, *.m2v.

Have you tried deleting the 0 byte file?

Shudder, I think the file is 0 byte because the process stops before it is fully generated.

Ahh.. I have seen 0 byte files before with store discs, so I just thought I'd throw that out

I checked the file names, they seem to be all correct, so rebuilder references the files correctly. Maybe it is the content of the files which causes Rebuilder to generate this error, but that I'm not master of...
