I am just curious to understand when ppl talk about it taking 45min to burn a DL DVD at 2.5x. Are they talking about the total time from the time they active the creation process (after ripping it to HD) to when the disc is completed. Or are they talking about just the time it takes to do the physical burn itself. I dont have any DL media to try so I dont know. If the complete process takes 45 min's then its not bad. I mean it takes me about 45+min's now to deap analysis, encode and burn using DVDShrink at 6-8x onto SL after ripping it to HD. If there is no analysis or encoding that has to done going to DL then 45 min's isnt bad IMHO. Also with the newer 4xDL burners coming on line now, it would be great to do a DVD bkup in about 20-25 min's.![]()
