  1. Excuse any ignorance I dont know much about this stuff.
    Basically I want to know how to get a picturre from my computers S-video out into my TV which also has an S-video in. I want to be able to watch my DVDs on my TV. The guy who sold me my computer said this was possible. I have the cable and everything but i cant get the damn thing to work.

    Any tips? Ideas?

  2. just get an s-video cable.,......make sure that your s-video connection on your pc is an out not an in (u said it was an out...but make sure)

    you also must switch your display to an external device; ie a tv. You need to go the properties of your video card and tell it that your using a tv( once you have connected the two devices together) and select the tv, normally located under the twin view tab. I have assumed that you have a video card that supports this feature!

    If you got a NVidia varity Video card with TVO, try TVTool to setup your TV Out.

    You may also have to switch the input source on your TV.
