  1. there was an articly in macaddict on how to do this, but i cant find it, can any one tell me how to make a custom boot screen in mac osx. thanks!

    You talking about the one with the apple, or the one with the progress bar and feedback? How are you trying to change it? If you're talking about the grey screen w/ Apple logo, you can use the MacBoot (http://ittpoi.com/?type=frameset&product=com.ittpoi.macboot) app to replace it with the image of your choice. I'm not sure how to replace the other boot screen...
