    just passed my 2 year member statust (Aug 28 2002)
    & just passed my 3 year of not smoking (Aug 30 2001)

    Congrats on both... you really started here the day you stopped smoking... Boy you would think a day online here would have cause you go out and buy carton or two.

    they are a year apart. actually I was getting bored at work since I didnt smoke so I found this place to hang out. I lurked for a long time before I joined.

    If you have kids you'll be thanking yourself when your 50 and able to still kick the ball around outside without having to sit down every 2 minutes.

    I quit about 6 months ago and pray to God that I haven't damaged my lungs too bad..

    Yes I have 3 kids and I smokes for 7 years. I hope they never start smoking, its a hard habit to break.

    Especially on the quit smoking thing.
    I have tried it all, hypnosis, the patch, acupuncture ad nauseum.
    The cigs just keep sucking me back in.
    And where I live the buggers are $10+ a pack.
    Keep up the solid front.
