  1. Hi, for almost a year I used the dvd writer that came with my computer, an hp a DVD+RW/CD-RW combo drive, and the backups created with that burner played fine on my laptop, then the burner broke and I bought a liteon external, can't remember the model cause I already returned it and exchanged it for a Plextor px-712a internal, and the movies I make with it don't play on my lapton, an Ibook, andthe ones I made with the lite on didn't play on my laptop either, and they play everywhere else but not on my laptop, and I put some discs that I made with the HP just to see if the dvdrom on the laptop is not the one damaged, but no, it plays the ones made with HP but doesn't play the ones made with the Lite on, or Plextor, so, why? Do they burn differently? I'm using the same program, the same everuthing, so what could be wrong?

  2. You cant use DVD+R/W discs in an ibook unless you set the booktype to DVD-ROM, and I dont thing lite-on or plextor support that.
