  1. I recently purchased a new drive, and I used MaxBlast 3 to copy the files to the new hard drive... The hard drive that was being copied, has Windows XP on it... I finished copying the files to the new hard drive, but I removed the drive that Windows XP was copied from, and when I try to boot my computer with the new drive, it sticks at the Windows XP start up screen... I then, added the old drive with new drive in the system, and it boots fine... I checked MSCONFIG, and it has all the files except for a few, booting from the old drive, instead of the new drive... What can I do to fix this? Is there a way to change the boot sequence to boot all the same files, but from the new drive? The old drive letter is C:. and the new one is I:

I had a similar problem. My solution was Acronis TrueImage 8.0, for some reason the Maxblaster software disagreed with my system. Good luck.

I don't think XP uses that.

I also use Acronis TrueImage (version 7). I tried Norton Ghost and a couple others last year and TrueImage worked the best.
