  1. does anyone know how i can normazlie audio in video? im putting a bunch of videos onto a vcd and i want to get all the audio volumes the same volume does anyone know any programs or any way to do this?

  3. soundforge, adobe audition, and I'm sure goldwave could too. There are some freeware ones that also normalize, but I can't remember which ones they are.

    You:
    1) Have to extract the audio from each mpegs in your bunch
    2) Convert each mp2 audio to wav
    3) Normalize the WAVs (Use some of the tools suggested above - or a little utility I've found: Normalize.exe)
    4) Reencode each WAV to mp2
    5) Multiplex the mp2 back together wit their corresponding m1v from stage 1
