Help with vid im making

Hi guys

Im planning an making a short film for work that involves 3-5minute video clip's of different location/job duties but i was wanting to put text in between the clips how can that be dont?

not looking for anything fancy say just a black screen with the writing appearing?

Any editing app that supports titles will do that. Most do, even MS Windows Movie Maker I believe.

You could also prepare your text inserts in photoshop or similar and import them into your editor
