So I just bought this thing off ebay. Anybody have any experience with it? I'm hoping to stabilize some old VHS tapes I have. I do have a SVHS unit with TBC (JVC SRV10U) but have "flagging" at the top on some tapes. I was hoping to use the video stabilization feature of the VCR and use the new TBC to fix the picture. I know some of these "pro" TBCs have different connectors, and I found the following on a website concerning it.
Model Description:
16 line window TBC
Model Details:
is a single board component processing system with features that include both composit NTSC and Y/C 3.58 inputs and outputs, no freeze frame, you need 3.58 feed back.
It looks to me like I need a special S-video cable. Any insight?
