  1. I have never had problems with spam in my email. Unfortunately, I recently placed an add in a local paper looking for teachers. Since then I've been swamped with virus attached emails "Your files" "Re:important" all that crap...

Anyway, I was just wondering, can anyone think of any email to REPLY to them that would scare the piss out of whom ever is sending this crap. Something like "You've attempted to corrupt our network with a virus. Malicious acts are illegal and there is zero tolerance. You will have 24 hours to blah blah"

Or do these senders even bother with looking at replies. I just don't get it!!

  2. Replying is tough. A lot of real hackers hijack someone elses computer and send mail or spoof an email address. The person who sent it may not even know it came from their computer.

Every email address can be spoofed.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

I get a lot of Returned mail that "I sent" that was returned because it had a virus in it. Even had one guy bitching at me until I explained to him why I wasn't responsible. I'd suggest not replying. Reply address means nothing, give me y6our e-mail addres and I'll send you a e-mail so you can reply to yourself. j/k

  6. DOesnt that just suck...I had a friend kind come up with some scary email about how we sent it with a tracker so that we could find their location, and not to attempt contact with us, or an other source as this would cause more harm than good...blah blah!! Anyway, since sending the email, no mail from THAT person...got like 4 in 30 minutes from the same address....

even if it's a real address, replying to them just lets them know they have a valid address
