    Is this the best player-recorder that i can buy?

    I am basically looking 4 something that will play anything u throw at it including xvid and divx

    Will this do?

    it played everything i put in it. but the one draw back is if your playing mp3s in it. it doesnt give you the info of what is on the disk. so you have to just skip through each song to see what is on it. and i only had mine a week then it wouldnt read original disks. but that could of been just a faulty one. so i didnt take a chance on another one. plus picture quality is not as good i.e no rgb scart.
