Copyright Copyright Copyright. Such a bugger. Bought the DVR 510 HS last month. (BTW I am in Australia Region 4.) The machine works fine for the most part. It's even region free- An unexpected bonus. However I did not realise Pioneer flexed their copyright arm with such force. Trying to copy DVD movies to HDD is not possible; copying "Home movies" from finalised DVD-R is not possible. In fact all that is possible is to record a DVD RW (in VR non-finalised mode only). I notified Pioneer Aus about this to which they were quite rude and abrupt with their response. To that end sending the copyright notice in the manual expanded 4x in Red
Is it possible to circumvent the tentacles of this seemingly inescapable botheration. M
