I have just bought Panasonic dmr-e85 series, when I dubbed from its hard disk to a DVD-RAM and put the DVD-RAM to my pc, I am able to see two files: IFO and Bup files.
the question is:
1. HOw come these two files only about 20 kb ? I recorded a program which is about 30 hours long, surely the files created should be much more than a mere 20 kb?
2. Is there any specific guide for copying files from DVD-RAM created by this machine to PC and transform it to MPEG or avi files?
Thanks in advance

You got 30 hours on a dvd? I don't think you can do that. What recording mode lets you do that?
Other than that just use tmpepenc dvd authort to import from a dvdram disk. There are lots of topics on this if you want to search the board. -
You should also have a file with the extension ".VRO. That's the one with the video and audio. You can open .VRO files with most newer editors and authoring apps. Then you can save it as a .mpg, or burn the dvd files.
Look around on the disc. If you recorded it, it should be there somewhere.
