  1. Is this possible? The reason is because I have about 5 hours of video and a SVCD gives me a higher kbp/s and also, the video is basically a cartoon. Or should i just encode it to a DVD MPG2?

I would run it through SVCD2DVDMPG. That is if it's already a SVCD. If it's just a MPEG file, you should have encoded it to DVD specs. There are several variations of MPEG that are DVD compatible, just look at the DVD specs to the left.

  3. Well it is not in SVCD yet. The files are still in the Divix3 format because it was much smaller to keep then Mpegs. It was encoded straight from TV Like that. So what should I do? I've seen the specs... it seems the DVD - SVCD is what I am aiming for. Is there any guides for help? I know how to use CCE SP trail to convert divix --> SVCD Mpg2 etc... I just need the last leg of authoring the DVD - svcd and making menus. Thanks for the help.

Don't convert to dvd-svcd because it is NOT dvd compliant. Convert to low resolution DVD instead, 352x480/576. Load the default dvd templates in your encoder and change to 352x480(NTSC) or 352x576(PAL).
