I have just purchased a Pioneer DVR-A07 to run on my mothers computer- but I am having real problems with the speed that it burns at, along with the total failure of it to produce any readable dvd's. My mother has a AMD 850 duron, with 512 mb of ram and windows 98SE. I know this is not the latest and greatest but it should still run it ok. I have upgraded the nero express that I had from my A06 so it reconises the burner, but when I start to burn a DVD-RW at 4X speed it takes about 40 minutes to burn. I have enabled the drive for DMA but nothing seems to make a difference. If anybody has any suggestions the it would be appreciated.
