  1. The following codecs should both capable of processing this format:

    --> {DV Video Decoder}
    {AVI Draw}

    To get more information by having GSpot instruct the O/S to "play" the file and then examine the results, press the button labeled "Render".

    This is a valid AVI file.

    The filesize is 204 MB (or 209,475 KB or 214,502,912 bytes).
    Of that, roughly 197 MB (97%) is video data; the remaining 7.00 MB ( 3%) is audio.

    The file's length is consistent with information embedded within the file, so it's fairly safe to assume that this file is complete - i.e. the file has not been truncated or otherwise damaged.

    The above info was given by Gspt. In any case I was trying to create from the above file via Nero a SVCD. Nero gets stuck and I have to reboot.
    1. does this file format good for SVCD
    2. If yes why does nero gets stuck when it start anlysing?

    Thanks

    That's apparently a DV file? If you are trying to encode it with Nero, you may have problems as it's a poor encoder. I would use TMPGEnc and select the SVCD template. It will need to be a Type 2 DV, if not there is a converter in 'Tools' to the left.

  3. Just tried Tempgenc and while processing the screen was dark. I managed to get a file which is 10 times smaller then the original but only sound.
    As they said I am in real darkness

    Help again
