  1. This is one wearied problem

    I a DVD Road to partition"

    now I have cleaned the surface a dozen times the DVD plays perfect ON MY Stand Alone DVD player in fact it plays perfect on 4 stand alone DVD players

    now DVD Decreypter gives me the famous IO/error through 50% of the way through every time

    Now also when i try to play it with DVD power amp it won't play from about halfway through the movie where I assume is 50% where it stuffs up also tryed just usign Shrink in one hit but throguh analizing it freezes itself halfway though the movie. then syas encounted error blahclah.

    tryed copying the files to HD that didn't work

    It's only one particular vob file which is 1 gig long

    what can I do??

    any suggestions

    It sounds as if that DVD is not an original disc. If it is, it seems to have some damage. Not much help here, unless there is a obvious scatch you can polish out.

    It may be something in your system, but you didn't fill out your computer profile, so it's a little hard to give further advice. I have backed up 'Road to Perdition' with Shrink with no problems.

  4. can't be my system this is the only disk Ive had problems with

    liking at the disk what is weird is i can't see any scratches or anything, why does it play in a DVD player but not on PC??

    Get a disk resurfacing kit like disc doctor and resurface and see if that eliminates your problem.

    Could be a weak spot that your dvd players can handle but your dvd-rom chokes on,try another dvd-rom to rip with if you can,i replaced my dvd-rom and my new one rips dvds the old one couldnt even read before.

  7. thanks I tryed both my ROMs no luck

    I think it must be the disk or something

    Ill have to get one of those kits and see what happens cheers


    when i tryed using DVD info it scanned for errors and reached 100$?? how can i see the results??

    is that red line that near where all the green dots from it scanning sectors mean thats bad sectors??
