Newbie here. Was wondering if somebody could help me out with this. I just used Auto GK to pull 2 VTS files off of a DVD and save them as two separate .AVI files. I then previewed them in Windows Media Player and they played fine. I then imported them into Premiere and they appear with a red line at the top of the Timeline. I assumed this meant that they needed to be rendered, so I rendered the Work Area. Then I tried to play the .AVI's and nothing...all I get is black video. I know that the .AVI's function, because I can view them in the Source window inside Premiere, but in the Program window all I get is black video. I am pretty new to Premiere, so this could just easily be a result of me not knowing what I am doing. If anybody could help out I would appreciate it. I have a deadline!!!!!!
