  1. Hi all,
I have had an .avi given to me that the person wants put onto a DVD.
Anyway, it plays in Media Player fine as it should do.
However, it will not be accepted into any program what so ever (that I can find).
GSpot says it is not a valid .avi
    AVICodec has error "EZeroDivide"
VirtualDub says "Cannot detect file type"
And lastly Premiere/TMPGEnc "File cannot open/unsupported"

Any ideas whats wrong? I have all the usual codecs installed.
Please, am quite desperate for some help

P.S Forgot to say there is an off chance that it may have been labelled as an avi when originally it would of been an .mpg
