I think he got shot everywhere, judging by the bullet impacts on the street. Apparently he was just about to launch on some unsuspecting target and someone spotted him and arranged a meeting with Allah for himOriginally Posted by flaninacupboard

I hope this guy gets an eternity of ass-raping in hell. To think, people have nothing better to do than fire rockets!Originally Posted by Capmaster

it's like big brother, YOU decide. -
I see it and think of how it saved the families of whomever the targets were from all that grief 8) He was probably lining up a shot against a humvee. Being a terrorist, and by definition a coward, he probably picked a target that couldn't shoot back immediately. Little did he know he was being watchedOriginally Posted by 888888

I read 1984 a while ago so can you clarify how it is like big brother?Originally Posted by flaninacupboard

i'm talking in refernce to the television show "Big Brother" where viewers vote to evict residents of a closed house under 24hour CCTV observation.
the tagline for voting is "who should be evicted.................. blahblah....... YOU decide!" -
Ohhh... that show sucked worse than a thing that really really sucks.Originally Posted by flaninacupboard

I don't think so. There is a possibility that the European version is more entertaining. I remember watching the first episode because I actually thought the show was a good idea. And it was SOOO bad. So boring and put together. Since then, I have developed a vicious hate for all reality programming. I don't think I would even give the show a chance now no matter how "entertaining" it has become.Originally Posted by flaninacupboard

Oh how I REALLY hope that was being filmed by one of his buddies for an upcoming propaganda film....one could only hope right?

Nobody can accuse terrorists of being among the world's great thinkersOriginally Posted by Craig Tucker
I hope so too. It's one thing for a terrorist to imagine the abstract concept of death and believe the rhetoric about ascending to be with Allah and 69 virgins. It's another to see a fellow nut job getting put down like a rabid dog. Maybe they'll think about it ......naaahhhhhhh! (See above)Originally Posted by hech54

The first shot bounced off the road into his back, the second shot popped his brains out! PIMP!

Nope.... only could watch it three times... with most all death video footage (real, not movie) it sickens me a tad watching it (stomach turns, etc) .... ya' know the whole "man inhumanity towards man" bs.Originally Posted by flaninacupboard

I normally am too. Remember Real TV? They used to have some disturbing video of people getting shot and all. When innocents are shown getting hurt, I change the channel. One of them disturbs me to this day ...it was chilling. Maybe what makes this one here easier to stomach is the fact that he was in the act of trying to kill other people who he didn't even know - just kill them. I don't consider someone like that truly human, so seeing them get blown away really doesn't bother me. It'd be the same if someone broke into my house and attacked us. I wouldn't have any trouble blowing him away. Sure I'd have nightmares for a while, but no regretsOriginally Posted by DVD_Ripper

It was a video taken in a pool hall. There was some drug dealer on the premises and some dispute broke out between him and another dealer who walked in. Although these kids weren't "innocent", they were just teenagers. One was trying to crawl away from a shooter and the guy just walked up to him and shot him through the top of the head about 5 or 6 times. It was sickening.Originally Posted by DVD_Ripper

A guy I worked with told us a story of a would be intruder he stopped at the door with a 357 muzzle in his ear. The intruder went to his knees, he called the cops and then changed his shorts.... I would hate to be in that "kill or be killed" situation. -

That intruder story is all too common. The outcome was best for everyone since the intruder didn't get his gray matter sprayed all over the lawn, and the homeowner didn't have to live with taking another human life, regardless of the justification that would be hard to handle.
We had a story that was on the news here a few years ago. This middle-aged woman was being questioned by the police. It seems that she was getting ready for work one morning and was having her coffee while she watched the news. She lived alone and kept a 12-gauge shotgun within reach of her easy chair.
Well, this mental midget broke in by way of the sliding patio door. When she hollered at him to freeze, he ran at her with the jimmying tool and she shot him at a range of about 6 feet with the 12-gauge. There was enough of him left to identify, but just barely. She was exonerated by the way
On the same subject, a buddy of mine used to live in Lincoln, Nebraska and his wife worked for a big photo lab in town. They had the city police contract for developing police photos on short notice.
She frequently developed and printed crime scene photos and one that caught her attention was one where there was a house break-in and the owner had a 20-gauge shotgun. For those who don't know, a 20-gauge is a little smaller than a 12-gauge. The owner shot the intruder at close range and the photos showed pieces of the bad guy on the ceiling behind the shooter
Wrong ******* house to rob!
After that experience she insisted to her husband that they always keep a shotgun in the house for protection
-
What do you have for protection?
I've got a 25 cal semi automatice pistol that I would think would piss a robber off more that stop him. Plus, its in a safe and bullets are elsewhere, not sure if I could even get it out in time to stop someone coming in the house. The dog would be a better deterent. -
I hate the freakin' pausing in that situation. I wouldn't hesitate. If it's a kill or be killed, my shot is getting off. I don't have any hand guns, but I have a 10 & a 20 gauge shot guns + a .22 bolt action repeating rifle.
That guy was just layed right out with bullets. Even after he dropped the rocket, he was sitting up in shock. Then he was put down right away. That's the stuff the media doesn't tell you about.

I would love to hear Dan Rather describe that footage as he presented it on the 6 o'clock news.Originally Posted by Doramius

I'll wait a bit as you're probably putting in all of the pics. The 10 Gauge is from my grandfather. I don't know many places that sell them or for really cheap if they do. The thing itself looks like a hand canon. The 20 is mine from NY and the .22 is on my father bought for me years ago to learn how to shoot. I'm not big into hand guns. I think people would be safer without them. And in a gun match, you'd better hope you hit something major to put me down, because I don't have to aim much with my 10 or 20.

I have ten shells for it. It was given to me with 12 shells 10+ years ago. That's how often it's used. Kept nice and clean though. I have fired some blanks through it, but blanks can do some damage too with that size gun. At 5 feet, I've shredded aluminum cans and blown small glass bottles away with 1/2 powder blanks. I do fire it with blanks about 1 or 2 times a year and then clean it to keep it in good working condition. I use the .22 on a regular basis, and the 20 for shooting [CLAY] pigeons in the open desert in off occasion.
