  1. Hello, I was on Amazon.com and did a search on Shrek 2 movie for movie showtimes and there was a link to this site to download the movie for a fee. According to the site, there are over 15,000 titles to download, all in .avi (DIVX, I assume) format. Has anyone come across this site or joined? I'm just curious as to how legit this site is. Amazon had a link to the site, so, I'm curious.

Forgive me if this question was posted already, but I did not find anything while running a search through the forums. I believe this will be the future for movie viewing. Let me know what everyone thinks.

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that it's not legit, seeing as how their top 20 aren't even released on video yet. But you're more than welcome to sign up with your Credit Card or Checking account and give them a try. Actually they may be legit, but if they are, you won't be seeing any of the movies they lead you to believe you will. It could be a legitimate source for low budget C and D movies that no one else would pay money to see elsewhere. Only problem is, they expect you to pay just to see what you have access to. The site does show an image saying '100% satisfaction guarantee.' The real 100% guarantee is this, keep an eye on your credit card record and forewarn your Card company that you signed up for something online and to be on the lookout for suspicious activity. It wouldn't surprise me at all if you made thousands of dollars of purchases that you didn't even know about, shortly after signing up.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
