Hello everybody!
I have a problem that is not strictly video related, but occur during video work, so here goes:
When I have DVD-Decrypter or DVD Shrink running and insert a DVD the system freezes completely. The mouse pointer is frozen and the keyboard is dead (including Ctrl-Alt-Delete). All I can do is a “red button reset”.
If I:
Place a DVD in the reader, the system recognise the disk and offers to play it. Then I can start DVD-Decrypter/DVD Shrink and let them do their stuff, no problem.
Burn an image with DVD-Decrypter all is well as long as I remove the burnt disk before I close the “Burn Completed” dialog. If I forget to remove the disk, the system is locked.
My system is running Windows XP, and the problem occurs both using my NEC ND2500 burner as my Lite-On DVD reader.
Searching the Forum did not give me any clues, but as non-English speaking I do have a problem finding the right words to use.

i would say to check your motherboard manufacturers for drivers for it.
failing that, try reinstalling the software again.
and if that doesnt fix it,then just stick to what works for you. -
Thanks for your suggestions RottenFoxBreath.
I tried your suggestions, but unfortunately they did not help.
Just want you to know that your time and energy is appreciated.
I guess I just have to remember the “proper” order of doing things.
Thanx
