Come on you DVD wizz kids i need HELP

Right i won a cheapo DVD player the TECHNIKA DVD-253 ive also got a few region 1 movies BUT the DVD player is set to region 2 and i keep coming back on this site and and for a month now still NO hacks for this player Im sure someone can figure out the REMOTE hack so this is for all you DVD wizz kids HOW CAN I GET MY TECHNIKA DVD-253 Multi Region? And i would like to know HOW do people even figure out the combinations is it just LUCK or do they find out of the BIG guys who make the DVD players??? Hope someone can HELP me out ASAP...Thanks.

1. Press Setup on the remote control.
2. Press Stop on the front panel of the player.
3. Press Previous on the front panel of the player.
4. Press Next on the front panel of the player.
5. You should now be in a secret menu where you can change the Region from 1 to 6, or Bypass for Region free.
6. You can also disable Macrovision from this menu.

SORRY...But this does NOT work reason been is that MOST of the buttons you told me to USE are NOT even on the player OR the remote its the TECHNIKA DVD-253
