    I have converted an avi to DVD but I don't recall if it was PAL or NTSC.
    Once burned I can use Nero InfoTool to find out, but how do I do it with just the VIDEO_TS folder and its files?

    Open the VIDEO_TS folder rename one of your .vobs to .mpg

    Then use AVIcodec.

    Then rename it back to .vob

    I've just tried it and it works ok.
