    i want to extract the audio from an mpeg file so i will have a video file and an audio file? any one know how?

    why does the video come out as m1v can i still burn that kinda file to dvd?
    what about tmpgenc dvd author will it still work

    M1v is elementary video mpg1 without audio,just import into tmpgenc dvd author with whatever audio source you are going to use,it will work.

    I like to use virtualdub. Just say no audio and save the video, then no video and save the audio.
