    Hello,
Simple, don't use the wizard. Just play with the settings awhile and it won't seem that scary. I believe there is an unlock setting that will let you do anything with the settings (go to settings, you'll see dvd, vcd, etc, choose unlock-it may be in a subfolder of that directory).

Also, check out the tmpgenc guides here. Theres bound to be stuff there for you. Also, are you making a vcd or svcd? It sounds like your trying to sacrifice quality for storage space.

  3. In the wizard at the bitrate screen, click the 'Expert' button and in the bitrate space change it manually. When you press ok you'll still see the bitrate set on 1600, but it will encode it in the bitrate you entered (you can see a difference in the bar which measures the space of the file on cd)

Hmmm, you must be referring to an earlier version.... I forgot to tell that I am usiong Tmpg Expres 3.0

There is no Expert button, and the bar doesn't show any change...
