When converting a 2.35 widescreen movie to play on a regular (non widescreen) TV but to keep the anamorphic format, what settings do I plug into TMPGEnc?
I made a whole bunch of short SVCD samples entering various aspect ratios (1:1, 4:3, 16:9) under the video tab and source aspect ratios (under the video and advanced tabs of TMPGEnc, repsectively). They play back as streched out or squished in versions of the video with black bars on the top and bottom, but I know that there is still part of the video missing from the left and right sides.
I know I keep the video arrange method as Full screen (keep aspect ratio) but what do I put for the aspect ratio under the video tab and teh source aspect ratio in the advanced tab? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I should include a bit more info...
I have a feeling my settings are for 1.8 aspect ratio instead. I tried following [url=https://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t174200.html]this guide /url], but I'm lost. Is it telling me to change my pixel size to 480x272 because I want to make a NTSC SVCD from a 2.35 transfer? -
It's an xvid, 576x240 (2.4). If I want to play it on a normal TV, I would think I should use 4:3 for the aspect ratio (under video) and either 1:1 VGA or 16:9 for the source aspect ratio, although neither one is perfect. However, reading these forums I get the idea that I need to change the size from the standard 480x480. I'm really confused.
