    hi,
    i have been copying dvds for a long ime now but i have herd that copying dvd+r/rw to dvd-r can be a problem? i only ask as i am thinking of buying a dvd recorder. the model i am looking at only records to dvd+r/rw. now i want my stuff on dvd-r so i want to know if i record to dvd+rw can i just copy straight to dvd-r like when i copy a store baught dvd or a dvd-r to dvd-r or are ther more steps to it?

    please i do not want to be told to buy a recorder that records to dvd-r/rw or be asked why i want to copy it from the dvd+r/rw to dvd-r.

    i just want to know if it is simple to do or what?

  2. Insert + R into drive
    Copy to pc
    Place -R into drive
    Copy from pc to new disc

    Its that hard
    If it's wet, drink it

    The only reason copying dvd+r/rw can be a problem is if poor media is used to burn and you get errors and try to copy back to the harddrive,same as with dvd-r/rw,if the dvdr is burned ok with no errors then you wont ever have problems copying back and forth.
