    I'm thinking of buying a dual layer writer soon,
    so I want to know how Is it working for you and what software
    your using.

    The only reason why I have one is because I used the hacked firmware on my Liteon SOHW812s that I already had. It upgraded it to a SOHW832s which added dual layer recording capabilities. I tried 2 recordings and they both burned fine. The playback on all my DVD players was 100%. I used Copy2DVD. I haven't made any recordings since then (over a month). I refuse to pay that amount of money for the media if you can find it. Dual layer recording isn't that critical at this time for me.

    They work fine & come with software too, thats why you buy with software, makes it easier for you...

    DL media isn't worth it at the moment, $14 per disk.
