    All day long, today only.
I'm off to enjoy the day
( great way to spend a birthday,
    re-connecting with things from
    your childhood.)

  3. Yeah, got my comics today and met a personal fave - Kurt Busiek. Nice guy, told bad jokes while he waited for the next book to sign. Read Astro City when you can, or Marvels or Shock Rockets, or any of the other great stuff he's put out there.

that's killer - the only two books I paid for today were the latest two issues of Astro City... one of the few new series I follow after a decade of not buying much...

Kurt Busiek is great...loved his Thunderbolts and Avengers with George Perez.

Picked up a Warren Ellis TPB ( "Scars"), and got some DC Animated Universe stuff for my 3 yr. old. Not too bad a morning overall...
