    Can anyone help with an unlock code on this portable DVD player? Apparently, it is also known as the SD-P1850 on the Toshiba website. I bought the unit in the US and am now in Australia. Thanks!

    (I actually purchased it at Costco where the Model # is: SD-KP19SN)

    You might try the Shinco SDP 1850 remote control hack posted here at Videohelp (click "DVD Hacks" on the left side of your screen, then type "1850" into the search box. Shinco makes a lot of stuff for Toshiba, so I suspect they're the same player.

    thanks -- unfortunately, doesn't work.... can't get a "Preference" menu under set-up.

    Any other thoughts from anyone?
