Has anyone tried "TRUE" 8x DVD+R Media yet? Have been burning "Quality" 4x Media at 8x speed but wondering if anyone has tried the "Real" 8x DVD+Rs ? If so can you tell any difference in the 8x vs burning 4x at 8x speed?
Thanks

Depends on the media quality, Ive burned 100+ 8x +R Prodiscs very excellent quality no coasters and they burn in 9.5 mins compared to 15 mins with the 4x -R Prodiscs I use. Very excellent test results too.

Sorry, I haven't tried burning 4X DVD+R media at 8X. I normally use only DVD-R and DVD+RW, but just bought some 8X DVD+R media at Sam's Club just to test it out. It burnt fine, but I've only burnt ONE so far.If so can you tell any difference in the 8x vs burning 4x at 8x speed? -
I've been using 8x Ridata discs. I've burnt about 20 so far and no problems.
