ripping menus

Is there a way to rip a menu from a dvd and to use it in your own project and do some changes to it using adobe encore dvd or diffrent software, to only have the movie selection and the menu with everything in it but when selecting the movie title it would play the movie that I have made, I dont care about chapter selection etc, it could be as when you use clonedvd and you deselect some of the selection out of the dvd so it would fit on to the dvdr, so when you select chapter or special feauters the screen goes blank and than it goes back to the main menu, is there a way to do this and how, thanx for any answers.

If you use DVDShrink in reauthor mode, grab the menu VOBs. It will convert them from working menus to a video/audio stream. You could import them and create soemthing from that.
