Ok, I was wondering if anyone out there knows a way to keep all your old idvd themes w/ out having to install each full version.
I am thinking of wiping all my software off and starting new ( i've had a few too many glitches lately and this might be a good way to get some crap off my machine.)
Here's the deal, I just didn't want to have to wait to install each new version of Idvd in the library. Can I just install IDVD4 and somehow move the folders of themes from the install cds into somewhere in Idvd4's folders?
I think that would save me like an hour or two. Anyone?

I can't see why that wouldn't work. But, assuming you have iDVD4 and all the old themes already installed, why don't you just backup the themes (they should be in the .app or maybe in /Library/Application Support/iDVD) and then toss them into the new install? Seems faster and lazier to me.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.

That's what I was hoping to do
I just wasn't sure if I could do that. I guess we'll find out! Peace
