    Care to push the limits of technology? Conference call? Be geeky???

    All I got from you is noise. Did you do the mic test when you set it up?
    Cobra suggested trying plugging the mic into the "mic" jack. You might have it plugged into "Line In" or "Line Out" by mistake

    Is there a test I can run after the install? I installed it prior to getting a headset.....
    I can hear myself (as well as the rest of the voices in my head) through the speakers / headphones...

    I'll check out the faq and maybe I can get it running the way it should..

    maybe we could have a thread where we just leave our usernames, no discussion nothing, just a list of skype usernames.
    I guess, having not installed it yet, you 'dial' someone you know by searching for username, right?

    Yeah. I'll start a Skype username thread. Folks can add to it or use it as a "master list" when setting up their contacts Good suggestion. Thanks Will
