  1. hey i used to be really into this and about a year has gone by and i havnt done much in the way of dvd authoring. what i have are a bunch of small wmv clips and im looking to author them all into 1 dvd. well the way i have always used to do this uses tmpgenc for a m2v file and stuff. but tmpgenc doesnt accept wmv, so what should i do, or use for this? thanks

    Of course it does. Select Open=>all files=>your .wmv files.

    Are they protected? If so, you're SOL, as far as this site is concerned.

    If not, run them through Windows Movie Maker and save them as DV-AVI.

  5. alright now i dont wanna sound dumb ( which will be hard after this question) but ive never used moviemaker before and was wondering how to save as a dv-avi, and not a wmv. thanks

    Try raising your Direct Show priority to 2 and the highest one.
