    Hello -

    Is there currently, or any plans for, a stand alone DVD
    player that will play Windows Media Video files (WMV)?

    As far as I know there is not one. If anyone does make one I reckon it would be these guys.

    The Microsoft Player (currently available only as part of the WinTel Pc).

    Many people build Home Theater PCs (HTPC) to view such movies.

    Thanks a lot for the link hard, now that I know
    there are stand alone dvd players that will
    play wmv9 files, im psyched.
