I usually get the G04 from shop4tech and they have been wonderful, I have gone through 2 100 packs in the past week. They are great! And they are 65 bux for 100.

I do home movies and vhs conversion so I need good media or I am done.. I tried the TOO CHEAP way a month ago with comp usa, now I will never shop there again. Shopping online kicks ass!!

I may go get another 200 of these verts.

My new writer Pioneer is kicking.. I bought the Pioneer and got a free 50 pack of matrix dvd's at shop4tech for 113.00 and some change.. GREAT writer, I started it off in my main system with my plextor, thinking it would be faster making two discs at once with nero.. well guess what.. it takes twice as long , so I put it in my other system and man o man.. burn city baby!!

You burned 60 discs in one day?? at 4x that would be 15hours of straight burning, are you sure your not pulling our leg? and what would you be burning 60 times in one day anyway? Sounds like your either a pirate or exaggerating here. Or do you have mulitple machines your burning on?

Read the other Thread on Verbimum 25 packs for 14.99... it saves you 20 bucks per hundred. The whole thread shows the method of still getting them. I love these disks too. (.60cents per disk)

    Good Luck and happy burning!

YES ... "sold out" online.... but I clicked on Store Icon under that and was directed to 3 stores in my AREA that had them in Stock (that I phone verified) ... and bought Yesderday. Also, Store Manager says they can give Rain Checks on this Idem in store. The name of the Thread was Verbatim 39.99 a 50 pack and didn't mention -/+ so I was just trying to save someone a little money!

Thinkin the same thing....Maybe he did a wedding video and had a request to burn 100 of them? Personally, I would go with minuses instead of plus DVDs if I'm burning them for other people, just for compatibilty reasons....Don't think the new Pioneer drive can do bitsetting (book type) and I know my 106 doesn't.
tgpo famous MAC commercial, You be the judge?

  10. I ordered four 25 packs of Verbatim Digital Movie 4X DVD -R's last monday before Best buy marked them sold out. I spoke to one of their customer service agents today and they told me it's back ordered and could take 3-4 weeks for them to get it. Do you think if I ask them to give me +R of this same brand will they agree as they are out of stock? or do you think I should go to one of their stores for this?

hey guys, yes I use two machines that why I bought another writer.. duh.
The pioneer is a 107d. No firmware upgrades have been done.. it is doing fine. My plextor acts up and I did a firmware update to it. I do all kinds of video, mostly shoot band videos for the local bands so they can make some money at their shows selling DVD's of themselves, I make out nice too. 5 bux a shot. Anymore questions? Why do you need question what I do? I was trying to help. For those that enjoyed it your welcome.
    Laters.
